I look forward to having work meetings in the area so I can indulge myself in a breakfast at Tres Hermanas! Months may go by, but when I walk in the door, Oscar remembers that I love the chilaquiles verdes with extra refried beans. Everything else we have tried is delicious, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Love this place.

Dependable source for morning service with a smile, sometimes a joke, when picking up a breakfast burrito. I value Mexican restaurants that value the role of POTATOES (papas) in Mexican cooking! Those potatoes in the breakfast burrito are just one more reason why 3 Hermanas is my fave spot for picking up a breakfast burrito. Good size, great value, always HOT and wrapped in aluminum. As for the ambiance, this place is clean and well-cared-for.

Toni, Teri and I met for lunch at this intimate authentic restaurant! I was greeted by a lovely man as i entered , i think he was the owner. Our waiter was attentive and a very nice young man. I Loved the extensive menu and chose Chili Relleno for lunch . It was a very generous portion of 2 large chilies, I chose green rice and black beans were probably the tastiest I ever had! . The sauce was delicious. I took one home no way I could eat both ! It was just cheese and I was accustomed to chicken or some meat in combo . The only thing that was disappointing about the entire meal was that the cheese was not melted at all! I took the left over chili home. I tried to get the cheese to melt and failed . I wonder what kind of cheese it was. All in all it was an afternoon of good company and good food!

Alan and I returned to 3 Hermanas many times after my initial review, but I wrote no updates, Elena retired and one of her relatives took over and things remained pretty much the same. Then the pandemic happened and it fell off our radar. Lori, Terry and I had lunch here today. It was Terry's choice. I walked in and was warmly greeted by a friendly man who held the door open for me. Lori and Terry were already seated. Our server was an adorable young man. The three of us all ordered the chili rellenos, Lori w/ black beans and Terry and I w/ refried beans. Terry and I ordered tamarindo to drink. We ordered guacamole, chips and salsa to share. There were three salsas ranging from mild to hot in squeeze bottles, and three small bowls to put them in. The guacamole was delicious, as good as I remembered, as was the salsa verde, which was the only one I tried. The rellenos were good, but not quite as good as they were before. The cheese inside them wasn't melted. The rice and beans were tasty. The tamarindo was OK. It wasn't mixed as well as it could have been and because I don't use plastic straws I didn't mix it. I didn't notice until I got to the bottom of the glass and found it grainy. Over all it was a good lunch and as usual the company was stellar.

First thing I want to mention is the customer service. I haven't been here in 4-5 years easily. I called in my phone order and when I picked it up, the guy working the counter was like "hey you're the chilaquiles and pozole right?" And I was astonished! He was like "yea I remember your face" not only that, but clearly he remembered my name and voice because neither of those items were on my previous regular orders. Outstanding! They got a nice tip just for that. But we haven't been feeling well and I thought some pozole and chilaquiles would be pretty tame and easy for us to eat, so I got those. I asked for the chilaquiles with no sour cream or cheese because I'm not a big dairy fan and they always comply. My daughter wasn't too interested in trying the chilaquiles because she doesn't like eggs, but she tried a piece....then another, and when I came back she had made a bowl with the chilaquiles, beans and potatoes. She ate all of it and said it was delicious. She wasn't as crazy about the pozole but I think that's just her temperament, and give her time and I'm sure she'll love it. The broth was very rich and flavorful and full bodied, not like those super thin broths you can come across. I haven't had a full bowl yet with all the fixings but it seems promising. She ended up going back for another serving of the chilaquiles. When I got mine, I added a few pieces of the meat from the pozole and some of the hominy and broth to my plate. UNBELIEVABLE!!! It was so delicious. I added a small amount of each of the salsas to the whole plate and it was perfect. I would be more than happy to come back and try these again and show support to this small community business.
